SURFING

Mahia Peninsula's unique shape and location gives it a near 360 degree window allowing you to find the right swell and wind conditions. With more then 30 surf breaks there are waves to suit all preferences and abilities.

YOGA

In our own nature yoga studio you can choose to attend a class by our resident teacher, or use the space at your leisure. Prefer yoga outside? Find an isolated spot on one of Mahia's 30 beaches.

Live Music

Music for us is life - it's all about sharing. Jam out in our music room or choose to put on a live concert for our other guests in our living room.

Wine Tour

Mahia Peninsula is part of the Hawke's Bay province - world famous for it's wine

Mountain Biking

The interior of Mahia Peninsula consists of rugged terrain and spectacular views. It is the perfect place to cycle and enjoy the landscape without the crowds.  Bikes are available for hire from the lodge.

Hot Springs

The Morere Springs produce 250,000 litres a day of hot ancient sea water. Known for its therapeutic values, the water is piped to a series of public and private hot pools situated amongst beatiful New zealand Rain forest

Hiking

Mahia Peninsula has multiple public walk trails to suit all fitness levels and experience -  the most famous being the ascent  to the summit of Mokatahi Hill.

Rocket Lab

On the tip of Mahia Peninsula you can find the world’s first private orbital launch range. This launch site can accommodate a launch rate of 120 flights per year.
